For patients who have appropriate indications for colonoscopic assessment, immediate bookings can be made without the necessity for prior consultation, thus minimising inconvenience to patients.

This service is available only if the referring practitioner is comfortable that the patient has no significant co-morbidities including the absence of diabetes, blood thinning medications, cardio-respiratory problems etc. Discussion with our Practice Nurse will assist in ensuring that patients who require or will benefit from a preliminary consultation and discussion are optimally supported.

With more significant co-morbidities, admission for supervised preparation the evening prior to a procedure can always be arranged.
